History of Quality Universal Beach Services Corp is a family-owned and operated business that has been servicing Florida's beaches for two generations. Under the same family ownership for 50 years, Universal is the only company that truly understands Florida's coastal system. Our mission is to create a beautiful barefoot beach environment by cleaning, restoring and preserving Florida's coastline to its natural state. Our quality can be seen in custom-designed and manufactured equipment along with innovative and skilled approaches to beach maintenance, preservation and restoration. Our company's services include beach cleaning, sand moving, dune restoration, removal of invasive exotics, beach tilling, turtle monitoring and post-hurricane reconstruction. With extensive experience in Palm Beach County and from Key West to northern Florida, we have reconstructed beaches after major hurricanes; turned rocky coastlines into self-sustaining, sandy beaches; removed massive debris that washed ashore; used special equipment to create soft beaches to encourage turtle nesting; and fortified dune systems to prevent erosion by removing invasive exotics and incorporating natural elements back into the coastal system. Our company has maintained many of its client relationships and serviced the finest resorts in Palm Beach County for decades President Clayton R. Peart has maintained an integral role in the company for more than 20 years overseeing all operations. As the owner, Peart is on the beach 7 days per week operating, observing and understanding Florida's coastline and beach needs. From his earliest childhood memories of rescuing sea turtle hatchlings with his father, he has been intimately familiar with Florida's beaches his whole life. After college, he joined the family business to help manage operations. Peart has continued the tradition of designing environmentally compatible implements by fabricating a unique tool in partnership with Coastal Management and Consulting to remove invasive exotics from the dune system. Peart looks forward to continuing his father's legacy of passion, dedication and quality. "I learned a lot from him and one of the things I learned was not to get complacent but to always look for new ideas and approaches." Peart graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and completed a two-year training course in welding technology from Palm Beach State College.
